Quite the experience I am sure. I have never experienced this live. Nice capture of the simultaneous explosions.

Thanks, have since seen some videos of this same event from different angles and considered it myself.I suppose for the full affect thats the way to go but I wanted to give this a try anyways. Happy with the results overall

Great shots but, anyone shooting this type of image should be careful to avoid the dust cloud from the implosion. It is harmful to both camera equipment and to lungs....

Fortunately dust was never a factor. I was west and winds were northerly and very lite. Yes it was loud and was confused with first blasts and no visual signs of them.
