I've had my 10D for a week now. I've noticed that when I download the photos, they aren't numbered in the sequence they were taken.
If I look at the EXIF's Date Taken, the photos have the right date/time on them. But the file names jump around in the numbering scheme. (e.g., the downloaded files Yard 001.jpg, 002, 003, 004 if sorted by Date/Time taken are 003,004,001,002, etc.
I'm doing lots of quick experimental shots with the quality set to SmallFine. I'm downloading 100-300 photos at a time using WindowsXP's [Scanners & Cameras] GetPictures function.
Any ideas how to control this?
