I agree, nice technique and a beautiful child make for a wonderful image. Your lighting looks spot on.
If you were trying to elminate any shadows, just look under her legs.

I try to eliminate all the shadow behind the subject but almost think you need a hint of shadow somewhere for depth and so it doesn't look like you cut and pasted them on a white bg? What do you think?

I agree with you. If there are no shadows there is no definition and the subject looks pasted on a background. A lot of the white I see being done the photographer uses a white, reflective board as the 'floor' to give a reflection and to anchor the subject.
