slow sync speed /external flashes

thank for the info on error 99. ...but i all so see
i can not use my " white lightning " strobe faster than
1/60. can this be possable. has any body tryed shooting at 1/500? what where the results ?

The 10D can sync at 200th of a second with White Lightning or any other flash. I just used it yesterday with a White Lightning...no problem
