Hi

This is my first post on the forum and also my first attempt at shooting this stuff. To my suprise I think I did well there is a show coming to my local town tonight and I was able to get some test shots done in the practise session.

The lighting tonight will be a lot diff so will have to see how it goes

This shot was taking on my Canon 10D and a 70 - 200 L lens

Just liek to say I was very happy to come accross this site, as I can learn alot from here..

Regards

Terry

Hiya

Thanks for the reply. Sorry should have mentioned thatit was straight out of the camera. Nothing but a tad sharpening was applied to the image..

Any tips on post processing encouraged

It's a nice shot!
Go to "Post Processing" for more than you ever wanted to know! ;) And...

OK, that's oversharpened Terry. See the white halo around the outside edges? The colors look good though.

hey terry, personally i love the shot, but i hate the framing, it's too big and bulky.

when you're shooting this type of shot, try (if possible) to get some background. a hill, mountain, the jump, clouds, etc.

great capture :D keep at it
