I don't do much macro photography, but while walking on a trail in Montana, I saw this flower and thought that it was beautiful. The only problem I have here is, what kind of flower is it??

Thanks for the help, Rick. I googled Jacob's Ladder and found they were mostly a darker color than the one I have from above. Do the pedals change colors over a season?

Here is a close match, There is also a white that we see often in Glacier NP
