Six Shots with 300 f/4.0

Today I got to use the new 300 mm f/4 prime for the first time outdoors. The lens looks promising, that's all I can say for now, performance-wise it appears to be somewhere in the same league as my EF 200 2.8 and EF 70-200 2.8.

All shots were done hand-held, IS on, AF on, B&W UV filter on, 300D body.
No cropping, no PP whatsoever.

Thanx Dave, I am glad and ecouraged that you see promise here as well.

Whenever new parents take their neonate home there is always that fear "Is my baby OK ?". Well, the first real shots would indicate that the metaphorical fruit of my loins is on the hale side.
