I am trying to set up EE on an Adelphia webserver running IIS. Am I trying to do the impossible? I have the engine installed and working somewhat. I have poured over this forum, but have not figured out my dilemma. I can get my exhibit to pull thumbs ok, but cannot get it to display the actual pics. The full sized pics are named the same names as the thumbs and all paths should work. When I go into Path Editor and look at the paths that have been installed for the sample exhibit, it shows a column at the right hand side that displays what exhibit a particular path is used for. How does a path get tied to an exhibit? Beside my new exhibit this coumn just has - - - in the column. That makes me think the exhibit has not been tied to me server folders. I apoligize in advance for a foolish question.

Good question Bob. I hope someone will answer it. I have the same problem.

Each photo has paths associated to it. Open a photo in photo editor (click link "Pick a photo to edit" and click a photo), there you can see a list of paths in bottom of that page. Select the correct paths this photo will use for the big images and save the paths.
One of the paths should be named "default" - it is the size EE shows first. If none of the selected paths are "default" then you don't see any photos (this will be fixed in next version with automatic path finder in photo viewer).
You can set the paths in "default photodata editor" for each exhibition in advance so when you add a new photo it will have the correct paths from the start.

Hi Pekka,
Thanks for that, but I've been doing that and am having problems.
I pick a photo and set the path at the bottom of the page. But if I change the default path for one image, then the main images (not thumbs and microthumbs) in another exhibition don't appear. There seems to be only one default for all photos. I have been having to put all the main photos (not thumbs and microthumbs) in one folder. Is this right? Or am I doing something wrong? I don't really want to put all the main photos in one folder because I use the file numbers produced by the camera, so if the camera generates two files that have the same number, I'll be in trouble.
Help! Please.
Best, NoBob.

Pekka,
On the same subject, I keep getting the following message: [ Received an empty resultset for photo 392 ] each time I click on a thumb. What am I doing wrong?

To Pekka:
Thanks so much for straightening me out. It was so easy after you pointed me in the right direction.
