EOS D30 IN CAMERA SHARPENING PARAMETERS

PLEASE HELP: I use a EOS D30 camera & I want to take JPEG Photos of products that are Sharpened within the camera (& not in Photoshop) that look Tack Shop & natural in appearance. What Parameters would you suggest I use to accomplish this??? Also, What causes "Error 8" & how can I eliminate it??? Thank You for your advice. gho64

Never shoot JPGs so I can't ansewr that part of your question except to say: there aren't many choices and sharpening is a matter of taste, so take a few test pictures and choose the setting you like best. Also sharpening for the web and for print may have different settings.

As far as error 8: AFAIK, there's no such error. This is the list that was provided from an official Canon source:
