Haai There,
Sitting in the garden i was bothered by some flies, tried to catch them and I did. Here's the result. Hope you like it.

its a terrific shot of the green fly
(now that I wrote that, it sounds funny,
you know... 'greenfly' which is not like this one at all)
never saw a green backed fly before.
I love the macro shots of these little fellows
and you've made me think again now about putting on a photo I took the other day.
because it was another 'blooming flower' I stopped myself posting it but now you have done it,
its coming in (I think)
because I liked the fly landing on the flower just in time to be snapped
its a great shot
(yours)
: )
regards
marie
ps
I will look at your gallery later
thank you !

Haai Marie,
Thanks for your lovely comments on my pics.

To see the green backed fly you'll have to come over to Holland, enough of these here.
... I liked the fly landing on the flower just in time to be snapped
Actually, these flies are sunbathing on my plants. As you can see there's enough sun and this time of year its sometimes warm enough. So the flies come here to warm up i guess. When i was taking my pictures i stood sometimes in the sun and then the flies where in my shadow. The flies quickly flew to another leaf of the plant to warm up there.
Greetings. Enjoy my pictures and thanks again.
