The weather was wonderful this morning so I took my new lens out for a test drive. I have a lot to learn. I have a great respect for the folks that post photos of bald eagles in flight. Wow - it is tough. The good news, for me, is that there are plenty of eagles around here. This is my weak offering.

Looks like you've got some great subjects and backgrounds to work w/Dan....I know I'm envious!
Congrats on your first Bald Eagle and a pretty good IF image at that. It's a great way to start, but it only makes us want more.....so what ya waiting for?

Welcome to our addic....er...hobby! Good start. When you incorporate the Baldie w/ snow-capped mountains, you'll have a lot of us drooling.

Nice weather! It was nasty here today. I can't wait to get out again. I have the bug.

I only wish I had the presence of mind to rotate my camera so I could get more. Our mountains are wonderful. I hope to show you more soon.
