No they don't Tlee. They'll send your camera back to canon which means you'll be without your camera for a few weeks :-(
Invest in a rocket blower, you can get the sensor surprisingly clean with a couple of good blasts of air. If it's really dirty look at one of the other methods, check this thread for more details : http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=68949

Did you buy your camera new from Jessops within the last year?
Jessops in Basingstoke told me you can get one free clean within the first year and I thought "Great!", but then they told me they didn't do it in house and had to send it to Canon and it would take a couple of weeks and I thought "Not so great!" so I ended up doing it myself. So far I have been able to get away with just using the rocket blower, it removed even the persistent blobs.

For less than the cost of one professional cleaning, you can order a packet of ten Digi-Pads and a bottle of Eclipse cleaning fluid from Warehouse Express and have enough to do several sensor cleans :)
Don't overly worry about all the warnings you read. I did but found the job wasn't nearly as daunting in reality and it was an effective method :)

Get yourself some Digipads and Eclipse fluid, and do it yourself - I got them from Warehouse Express, and spent a week plucking up the courage to do it - 5 minutes later I was admiring totally dust free test shots whilst wondering what I'd been so worried about !
As long as you're sensible its easy . . . . . .

Clean it yourself. I'm surprised how many are intimidated by this process, it really is simple, easy and painless. Once you've done it, it will become rather routine.

Never use anything that is not designed to do this. By doing what you did you stand a good chance of putting more on than you took off.

ditto. it's not hard. most people who send their cams in to be cleaned have to do it themselves anyway. what i'm saying is the manufacturers don't do a very good job. i've used all the methods, and i like Sensor Brush the best.
