Studio metalic guitar shot

I took this photo using an old canon powershot G2. Have two little soft boxes and am using a lot of black and white material to to give the best chrome effect possible. Anybody tell me if that is the standard way to block out reflections or if there is a better way?

Cant comment as to whether or not thats the standard way of lighting such an image, but you did a really good job!
