Yup! All in the same day. My decision is based on Nikon's track record and it wasn't that difficult to convince me. ;) The 1D X is nice but, I'm not a speed/ISO junkie. ;)

I've noticed a lot of interesting G1X conversation since its launch. You have 60% of the people saying "$800?? Seems a bit high!" (we'll call these the "apprehensive"). Then you have about 20% of the people (let's call them "realists") buying and trying the camera and speaking objectively about it. Then you have about 9% of the people who are trolling the forums with nonsensical whining like "well, my Olympus ZX-1 is clearly superior because the lens is faster!", completely devoid of realism (let's call them "idiots"). Then you have about 1% who pre-ordered the camera and trolled all the forums repeating the same posts over and over and over again, offering excuses (let's call these the "apologists", because "fanboy" is so passé) for every concern anyone had and calling anyone with a concern a "troll".

The odd part is that more than 50% of the chatter is coming from constant reposting of the same comments by the 1%. Interesting.

Back before I got married, I kept spending $100 a pop on 1 year Visas (only good for a total of 90 days per visit) to see my fiance (but before we were engaged). After we got engaged and I stated that on the Visa application, they finally gave me a 5 year Visa. It's about to run out too. :-P

like scheduale....our jets brake alot more then commercial jets mostly cause of our in depth inspections the Commercial airlines dont do... (no that what they are doing is wrong, but that the airforce is that over protective mother type inspections)

the wife slep great.... but i purchased mine on clearence/ pre owned so I dont have that option
