Just read an interview with Canon about the 5d3, and one thing was said that may clarify something with the AF...

The 1Dx and 5D3 share the exact same dedicated microprocessor for AF. Neither use a digic chip for this. The 1Dx uses the extra digic 4 for its metering system.

Yup but i just dont see him going there and pigging backing of what Kurt Warner did. The dolphins i think is the prime candidate but from what i have heard he doesnt want to play brady twice during the season so that is the negative against them. The negative against the redskins is shanahan who is a control freak and denver is a cold weather location. No secret manning loves him some domes :lol:

I miss Uverse with a passion. Being able to record up to 4 streams on the DVR at once = EPIC WIN. And the price was VERY fair. And they included Versus as a standard channel when I had it.

The bottom two were when ATT was throttling me for going over 2GB in the month. :-P During that time, I was getting about 2/3rds of your DSL speed on my iPhone...it was like a nightmare! :( I upgraded to the 5GB w/ HotSpot Plan.

Note I installed the new iOS and my phone is now "4G" (see top)! :lol:

I don't have 4G... I don't even get 3G here. I get the cell broadband that was below 3G and I only get it if I sit right beside my signal amplifier (we didn't get the dish for the amplifier pointed just right on our roof and our roof is really steep and we don't have a ladder high enough so you have to climb up the roof which is really frightening... we're waiting to maybe beg one of K's sons to do it for us since they're younger and all that). So cell broadband isn't available either.

Hubby wants to move but I love my magical little place so much. We have this little creek we have to drive over with a bridge and you can't see our house from the road. Lots of trees between us and anyone else. Our pond leaks - we need to get some gypsum and put down for how porous the soil is making it, but except for that one flaw... we have berry bushes, fruit trees, etc., etc... All of these things established here. It will take years to start them all over again somewhere else. :(

I'm looking hard again at satellite internet again to be honest. The costs will be about the same and they advertise higher speeds (though I'm sure they're exaggerating). I think part of our problem is they're running us through a digital multiplexer and piggybacking a whole bunch of DSL over two copper pairs. So at night when everyone hits the internet it's too much for it to run fast and we slow down to just barely faster than dial-up!

I was looking at HughesNet - could swear I didn't see monthly data caps once you got around $80-90. If we nixed the land line (of course I was the one who insisted on keeping a landline for emergencies because if you have a real plug-in phone landlines still work when you have no power). It's just a lovely thing. Thank goodness I grew up this way and am not terribly attached to high-speed data... (I think)

If we nixed the land line (of course I was the one who insisted on keeping a landline for emergencies because if you have a real plug-in phone landlines still work when you have no power). It's just a lovely thing. Thank goodness I grew up this way and am not terribly attached to high-speed data... (I think)

Well, she was named Duchess. Until she got so football-shaped. We panicked when we couldn't find her yesterday - we were afraid she had her kittens somewhere where we wouldn't find her. When we found her further inflated we ended up moving her inside for now. I'm waiting to see hubby refuse to part with any of the kittens. He always blames me for the animals and the way they're spoiled, but he's responsible for every animal added to our group since we got together! :lol:

You can always go satellite. We use HughesNet, and it works reasonably well.

What is keeping me from buying an iPad is the lack of expandable storage. Many Android tablets let you expand the amount of storage via memory cards (like micro SD).

As of Android 3.x, you didn't have the capability to write to memory cards--wonder if they've changed that with 4.0

Eventually it will just be iPad. This way they can do the same as they do with new iMac and macbook pro releases. The numbers are getting annoying :lol: They should do the same with the iphone going forward and just engrave 2012 or something on the back of them.
