I posted already, but since then my husband told me to go ahead and order my 20D, which is what I really wanted this year. I love that man! Add $1450 for the 20D with 18-55 lens kit and $30 for a photography book.

It came from Costco so the shipping and tax were not included, both extra. I like the Costco guarantee because it is forever. If I got it somewhere else, I'd have to pay for the extended warranty. I'm a little nervous about equipment as I seem to leave my camera by the computer and someone always knocks it over. I have 4 sons. Need I say more?

Hmm...I'm assuming that the 200 f/2.8L is sharper than the 70-200 f/2.8L, correct? Now..why is it so much cheaper? IQ not as good? What's the "compromise" with this lens?

I had never looked at that lens...didn't know it was that cheap.
