I've been playing with my 10D now for about 6 days, fearing the dreaded focus gremlins, exposure fairies and so forth and so far so good. Nothing I can't live with. I love the camera.
Now I have about 1 week before I have to go to work with it and I have been playing with the Focus and Exposure settings in C.Fns.
So here we go. With my 1VHS I would take a skin reading off of the boxer; set it, since the lighting is pretty consistent under the lights. I would then let the camera do the focus, as I tapped away on the shutter realease to continually set focal point, or use AI. Sometimes ropes or a refs butt would throw things off for a sec, but the camera/lens would quickly take care of things as I cursed.
Will my 10D be up to the task of quick focus? Should I keep it on continous drive with AI? Also in the C.Fns is there a preferred setting for Sport shooters?
Hope my terms are correct I left my manual at work. So be kind.
Mike
