As an exercise in shallow depth of field this shot is quite good.
However on a number if issues the shot has not worked well.
* Even the sharp part of the mop is not really sharp.
With a stationary subject you should have no trouble
getting something needle sharp.

* The image is virtually all in the midtone range.
No good blacks and no good whites.
This leads to rather flat looking images, which work well for some types of shots eg foggy days, but has not worked well here.

*Your composition is not really good.
Above a diagonal from top right to bottom left there is virtually nothing of interest at all.
ie. You have wasted almost 50 % of the image area.

*Another small point.
You have chosen a blurred border for an image that is
largely blurred. This tends to make matters worse.
The viewer's eye wanders around trying to find somewhere
to settle and enjoy the image. The blurred surround does not help.

Keep trying. If taking pics were very simple to do,
there would be no challenge to it.
