To avoid confusion on the issue:

Now in your User Control Panel under EDIT PROFILE (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/profile.php?do=editprofile) there is a new setting:

Image edit and repost permission
Do you want to give members permission to alter you photos and repost the altered photos to forums (you have always copyright, of course)?
YES / NO

By default everyone has this set to "NO". If you want to allow people edit and repost your images (that may happen e.g. when sharing photos and asking for post-processing or crop help) then tick on YES and save your profile.

This selection "YES" will be displayed in post display under your avatar:

IMAGE EDITING OK

... so that people can see that editing is ok by you. Else, editing is to be considered forbidden.

Note that tweaking this on and off during you stay here will most likely confuse others, so choose one and stick to it. Moderators act on current status only.

If you want to make an exception, write a permission or deny message CLEARLY to your post. If there is no edit permission and moderators see edited and reposted images, those images will be deleted. See http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=115239 and http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=51052 for background info.
