Batching in PS CS2

Ok, I will sound like a total idiot now, but how the heck do I batch process images in CS2? I am working in CS2 at work, and I'm used to just going to "automate", "batch" and being able to fill in what dimensions I want the image to be. Then it'll batch the whole thing in a minute.

I've been trying to batch process PDF files into JPG files and when I go to "batch" it refuses to let me change the dimensions. Anyone who can help me?

There are two ways:
- Write an action, and use the photoshop -> batch command from bridge to run the action on all the files.
- To batch from RAW to JPG open all the photos in camera raw, select all, hit save as.
