Hello Pekka,
If I set the option "SHOW LOCATION AND COUNTRY" on the "Set default photodata" page to "no", it still shows on the main page (where you can select one of the exhibitions).
I don't know if it is on purpose, but I don't think it's very logical :)
BTW: Using EE1.3RC
