I hope this is the correct forum for my first post. Anyway, I stumbled here after recently receiving my first digital camera (SD550) for my birthday. I've already taken more pictures in the last few weeks than I have in the last 5 years with my regular SLR camera (my 3 cats have cooperated quite nicely!). As expected, the quality of pictures has been erratic.

I hope to get a lot of good information here, as I'm really hoping to better my photography skills. See you all around!

Cholmes75 good choice in forums ... I ended up here by accident while looking for information on my new camera. A lot of the users here are all about helping as long as you make some effort they are right there to help. If you plan on buying accessories make sure to read what other users have said in the market section. It may save you from a terrible shopping experience.
