Hi All-
Decided to join to sponge up some info and learn. This is my first post.
Just got a EOS 20D from Pictureline in Salt Lake City. Had a couple of lenses leftover from my Elan II. Decided to upgrade after my little Nikon died.
I've been lightly dabbling in photography since high school. Submitted a photo back then to Surfer Magazine, but a letter from the editor suggested I upgrade my equipment. He did like the shot, though.
I've very occasionally been an assistant for my sister-in-law, who is a successful pro photographer.
I'm a contractor and will be documenting construction with the camera, and I'll be looking for a wide angle (zoom?) for shooting interior rooms.
When not using the camera for work, I like shooting close-ups, graphic compositions, and whatever catches my eye!
