All un-editted ;), I did alot of people shots today too but the 18-55mm kit lens makes me want to pull my hair out as I failed alot of them, and they looked so good on the LCD but not sharper enough for my liking,
Enjoy

Tlee, it seems to me that on instinct you are framing some excellent concept photos ! I particularly like the last one, and the shot thru a pub's window.
The 18-55 can be a decent lens in high ambient light level, read "sunlight".
Your shooting seems to require a fast lens....a 50mm 1.8 or 1.4 !
Somewhere you can get away with your images lacking sharpness, like in the subway shot. However, the first shot although conceived well can not be executed easily with the 18-55....you need something much faster and sharper !

Yeh, I really do need the 50mm f1.4 its on my wish list :D, Thanks for the comments petkal, Also hitting up the ISO too 800 on the 300D has created alot of noise in my pictures, :(

On my 300D I do not use ISO above 400 if I can help it.
The second point: The 50 1.8 is optically perhaps only slightly inferior to 1.4, yet several times cheaper......so the 1.4 may not be worth the extra wait if you can get the 1.8 today and start shooting with it tomorrow ?

Yeh I prob could get the 1.8 today, But then I might want to upgrade to 1.4, So overall I will lose out on even more money. Yeh I try to stick to low ISO but night time shots with the kit lens is hard, Another reason why the 1.4 would be better as it lets in more light then the 1.8 correct?

Nice shot of the London Eye. I like the subway shot too, it seems so similar to the subways here during the commute home.
