There is not much that can be said about John's work that hasn't been said before by much wiser men than myself.
However I will say that it takes a very skilled photographer to shoot directly into the sun and make such emotional images at a motorsports event.

Im new to the forum, I was at Sebring with my 1st DSLR T3i and met a pro named Corey. He showed me a couple of settings for panning and I have a few shots to post tomorrow. Can't wait

Great great shots ....
Especailly like the sunset/night shots...
Mind you from some angles those Audis look a bit strange & ungainly.,.......I think its the 3/4 front view, may be because of the large tires on the front they look a bit "bulldog..ish",...but hey they're ace cars what ever it takes to go fast....

If you click on the image it will spawn a new window with my Flickr account. In the right corner of the Flickr page for each image, you'll see the Camera make. If you click on that you'll get the EXIF.
