I hope this is the correct forum.
Big boy and little brother.

I can't see the picture :(
Try again. This is happening to all of my photos. They disappear, then a while later they re-appear. Mysterious.

Now it's back.
A question. Why do some photo posts have a border and the words "Insert Image," whilst others don't?

Not really a mystery, it's just the typical problem with most free web hosting, when bandwidth limits are imposed. Here's the message displayed if I try to go directly to one of your pictures. You would probably be better off getting them down to a size where you can attach them directly to your message (~120K I think), and you would avoid this problem.
I did finally see the picture though. Very nice.

Geocities says the image is 224KB. I've sized it to Webpage on HP Editor. If I made it smaller, how would it appear here? Not that I know how to make it smaller, nor do I understand attaching it directly to my message.
Thank you for the help.

I'm not familiar with HP Editor. The dimensions are fine, you just need to increase the JPEG compression a bit to get it under 100K if you want to attach it to your message. I use Photoshop, which has a Save for Web option, and you can move the quality slider until you see the size go below 100K. Then, before you submit the message, you will see a "Manage Attachments" button that will allow you to upload photos as part of your message rather than pulled from another web site.
You could also set up a gallery on pbase which I think is free. They go down from time to time, but not as often as exceeding geocities free bandwidth limits.

pcasciola:
Thanks for the help. I didn't know that I could attach files directly from my computer.
HP Editor is a very simple photo editing program that came with my HP PRinter/copier.
I have Photoshop, but since I do not know how to use it, I called a friend and he told me how to use the Save for Web function.
I'll try attaching the new file here.
