Brooklands, Surrey

I was working near the old Brooklands Racing Circuit on Friday and thought I would see if anything was left, there is about 200 yards of the old banked circuit left alongside the entry road to a great big Tesco supermarket. I thought it was so sad that where once men had raced at breakneck speeds in supercharged Bentleys there are now tree's and moss growing out the the cracked and ruptured concrete.

I think I will definiteley have to go back with a tripod next time and get some more shots of the moss covered concrete in the foreground. I want to get more DOF as well but I didnt have a lot of time on this visit as I had to get back to work.
