It does get a 3-D feel to it- similar to just animating a twin stereo pic set.
Good idea on the music, but think I'm in trouble already because of the file size.
As a matter of interest you ever tried doing an animated gIF on your art work? you could have kinetic pictures.

You know.... I haven't.... but I am still trying to get a good grasp on GIF and if I ever can figure it out..Flash :p The Apophysis program that I use to do my fractals has a button that allows it to spin thru different phases as an animation... but I have yet to figure out if there is a way to record that animation.

Well if you can save the pics as jpgs you can import them into a GIF handling prog such as adobe imageready and turn them into an animated gif.

you are right, It was me doing the moving, some of it on purpose (for a stereo shoot) but not all.;) The flies were moving a bit- more of a vibration plus the one on top's halteres (the little think behind the wing joint) were going up and down :)
