The download peaked at 327k with an average of 270k for me, but I have 7Meg DSL. Could have been faster but running several other bandwidth intensive items at the same time.

Edit: Pretty funny video.

I would get you a time, but it was on my desktop faster than I could get the numbers :D

Thats with my 6.5Mbps connection, which unlike Duncans has not yet been limited.

And after watching the Ad, I now I didn't need to download it.
Iv seen it far to many times on TV already :)

Theres actualy a REALLY long history to the Toyota Hilux adds here in NZ.
Back in the dark ages (the 80s) there was a national personality by the name of Barry Crump. He was sort of the ultimate Kiwi hard man, knew his buch lore etc. There was also a TV personality called Scotty. He was sort of the opposite of Barry Crump, a real city boy as it were back then.
The Toyota Hilux had developed a repution in the Farming comunity as being almost indestructable, and Toyota developed a whole series of adds where Barry Crump would find an Excuse to take Scotty on a mad drive over farm land and through the bush.
They started off being very real, a Hilux bashing its way through dense scrub, or jumping over streams and swimming through deep mud. They always features Barry Crump making fun of Scotty while he hung on and screamed in fear.
Then as the 80s lost touch with reality so did the adds, and they started doing things like driving off clifs and huge water falls.
It all ended soon after, with one short run exception in the 90s that shower Barry Crump being driven around the central city by Scotty.

Barry Crump died a few years ago, so Toyota took the concept from old adds and added some new chrachters when the latest model Hilux came out.
Hence the above add :)

I got 150KB/sec, from New Zealand, it probably would've gone faster if it were bigger, it can take a little while to get up to full speed (200kBps) sometimes.

NZ sucks for broadband. I get 2Mbps down 192kbps up for about US$30/month. I'd pay more for a faster link, especially uplink, but they don't offer it at a reasonable price - if they do at all it'd cost hundreds of dollars per month.

Acrss the ocean (Im in the office, about 400 (yes, that's four HUNDRED) mbps bandwidth splitted on several carriers (3 international @ 100 mbps) and it came in at about 750 kbps. Your limit, not mine, I guess ;)

Some of the old 4Runner models were based of the Hilux Chassis, otherwise I would say its always been a bit small for your Market. Although I could be wrong.

I confess, I have this weakness with talking animals, I cannot resist them
there was a NZ piggy who did Kofi Annan with all the animals of the farm, I just cracked each time I watched it and my offspring was so-o embarrassed with their daddy rolloing across the floor about some stupid animal jokes

even the NZ accent is so unbelievable, I wish I could fake it
I got it running right off on my Mac, I have a DSL, well the overseas French version of it

I will NOT buy a forerunner though, that's for sure, Ill get one with suspension

I think the new ones are based on something differnt, as they look much bigger than the current Hilux.

The Hilux is a bit of a legand in this part of the world, even the Europeans know about them. They are very popular through out most of Africa, and can be found right through the Caribean and Pasific.

Kiwi's don't have an accent, thats those funny Australians, and as for the American accent? Well, thats always good for a laugh :D:D

In Limewire, I average about 200kb/sec. In general, I get about 15mbps download rate.

However, I don't know how "big" this video was, but it started the very same second I clicked on it.

Check out this previous HiLux add, they tryed to ban them in Australia, and it caused a bit of a stir by making a certain word 'acceptable' ;)
