The links use flash, and as I don't use flash, I can't browse the site.
Provide HTML links as well!

Your "flipper" SWF only shows up as a solid red box in Firefox 1.04 on my Macs. However, clicking on it does change pages.
Other browsers I have on this Mac show the flipper properly: Safari 1.3.1, Opera 6.03, Netscape 7.1, and Internet Explorer 5.2.3. I am running OS X 10.3.9.
On a different Mac running OS X 10.4.3, your page worked in Safari 2.0.2, and -- interestingly -- worked in Firefox 1.5.
People definitely do not always keep up with the latest and greatest browsers (new versions of Firefox sometimes break old Firefox Extensions), so you might want to check your page against various versions of various browsers if you can get your hands on them. My own site's visitor logs show a dozen and a half or more different browsers+versions in use out there.

It looks good. Obviously a little more content would be nice, but we know that's coming.
Love the Avalon pano.

cool thanks guys for the feedback it def. is nice..
I added text links on the right box so those who can't see the flash can still surf the site.

Looks a lot nicer than your older Frontpage template. :)
I'm using Firefox 1.5 and have flash8 so everything works fine for me.
My only comment is that the red stripe down the side is a little heavy and feels like it unbalances the page somewhat.

the stripe is the only cool thing i could use at the moment..
I dont like backgrounds which are all over the page..
I added text links and a best viewed in firefox at the bottom.
Now all i need to do is add some more content :)

I agree on the whole background thing. How about looking to see what it is like with a thinner stripe and maybe not butting up against the edge of the page? Just suggestions, basically you've got a solid design. Certainly more imaginitive than my never quite finished design http://www.notesfromtherivercity.com/

yeah i'll look into that once i get alot more text and clutter on the page since right now the page is so bare i think it isnt too bad..yet..
