river picture

i took this the other day and i think its a good picture, i ,know thats ultumatly what matters, but i am no where any real good at this so i would like to get some opponion of some people who are good.. thanks for your input

Quit beating up on yourself - you're good!
This picture looks to me like it could have also been lightened a bit without losing the highlights, but it's hard to say. It might change the mood a bit to try it a bit lighter.

I like the range of tones, although it is low key. It has very nice depth because of the lines and the vantage point. And it has good interest. You laid it out very well.

Its a very nice photograph indeed.
I think you have captured the stillness of a still place very well and it's great to see snow looking the right colour. The reflections are subtle. In fact I bet all the tones and colours here are more or less as seen.
