Hi everyone!
I have a question about portrait lighting. I am considering buying a small light kit to take portraits of my baby, "Smith Victor - KT500 500-Watt Thrifty Photoflood Kit ": (http://www.ritzcamera.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&productId=13333854)

2 10 in. Reflectors
2 Socket & Cordsets with Stand Mounts
2 Raven 6 ft. Aluminum Stands
2 ECA 250-Watt Photoflood Lamps
1 Corrugated Carrying Case
1 Lighting Guide: Imaging with Light

Do you think that this kit is a good starting point to explore and practice studio portraits? and do I need anything else to get started?
Thank you so much for your help:)

As a starter, maybe. What is the cost? Any more details?

A light meter...might as well get a flashmeter if you're pretty sure you're going to get into it.

The cost is about $100. Unfortunatly I don't have any more detail. However I found Diffuser that fits the reflectors are they a good option (about $20 each).
Also am I gonna find ambrellas that fits on the type of reflectors that comes with it?
Thanks for the advice.
