Does 10D auto convert for flash zoom ?

Is the 10D compatible with auto zoom flash such as the 430EX or 580EX where it zooms automatically to match the camera zoom setting & automatically converts for the 1.6 sensor size. I'm not sure I asked this question clearly, but the Canon web site refers to the 430EX as having Auto Conversion of Flash Zoom with Compatible SLRs. What I'm wondering is if the 10D is compatible with this feature. I don't have either flash but need to know this before purchasing.

The 430EX and the 580EX will autozoom when the focal length of the zoom lens on the 10D is changed. However, it will not adjust for the 1.6x crop factor because the 10D does not convey that information to the flash. These flashes were made long after the 10D came out so the 10D knows nothing about passing this information on to the flash.
