Hi, I recently bought an S45 and after a honeymoon period of a couple of weeks started to experience problems with corrupted files on the camera.
Along with the supplied 32Mb Canon card I bought an extra 128Mb card (Fuji). Initially it seemed the corruptions were occuring only on the Fuji card, but after a while some images were corrupted on the Canon card as well.
I had formatted the cards before each use.
After contacting the shop I bought it from they advised me to return it to them for repair by Canon under warrenty. I got the camera back last weekend after repairs had been carried out, rushed out to test it; results.... Canon flashcard OK, Fuji two corruptions in approx 20 shots.
Contacted shop again to be informed it could be the flashcard and are sending on a Scandisk card to try, not totaly convinced contacted Canon direct but they were evasive.
Anyone else had similar problems or advice what to do to stop these corruptions?
Tony
