whoa, great set. I really like #1 the halo reflection in the background is brilliant. Great use of light and exposure. What Focal length was #1 taken at? I see a bit of distortion in the photo but it only distracts a tiny bit for me. Overall great photos they will be happy with these very creative.

What's the story behind this?
Was he or is he a soldier?
Otherwise I don't get the location in #1 and the newspaper in #2.
Photographically, these are nice however.

romantic shot, at a memorial site? Romantic shot and a war newsreport?
I see the contrast, but it is not something that I would find natural for a framed picture on the wall. As something that is going to illustrate a newspaper story about war widdows it would work though.

It was the date of their engagement session. Funny how they had a soldier on the front page.
