I know the A70 has alot of manual settings, does it let you focus manualy or is it all automatic?
Im thinking of getting the tele converter aswell, does that come with its own focus with those little black rings i see those proffessionals spin on the zoom?

yes, the a70 has a manual focus, but i guess it is pretty much limited to the macro mode.
about the teleconverter lens, you need to find and get the AF teleconverter lens. those manually focused teleconverter lens are mostly used for slr's and dslr's. what you can find mostly for the telecon lens are those 2x lens. the max magnification available is the kenko telecon lens which magnifies at 5x.

I think im getting the standard one from Canon, the 'Tele Conversion Lens TC-DC52'. Thats a 2.4x.
This 5x ones, how much does that cost? The Canon one im talking about is about $300 Aus.
This kenko lens, is it expensive because 5x sounds as if it would be twice or more times expensive than the standard canon one. Do you have a model number or something i can use to search on the net, because i'd like to look into it.
