Yesterday the 350D came out of the box. Took it down to the beach to look at the sunset and spent a couple of hours upgrading and installing until finally found the "Way of the DNG". I think I've done enough of these but here's still another one...oops, I see that hues were lost in posting.
Do you believe me when I say that they are better in the orig?
BTW a beautiful piece of machinery, the 350D!

Nice shot dude!! Especially for a 350 newb!
I could never figure out why high end SRL cameras like the XT/350 are in a 4x6 ratio but are capable of printing very large images... and cheaper P&S cameras with lesser optics are geared for 8x10 or 11x14 ratios.

I just loved how wide your image looks, almost pano, which reminded me of how I have to be conscious of horizontal cropping if I want a hanger.

The colours do look a bit flat... might be your colour spaces that makes it look better on your machine (Adobe RGB by chance?).
A little contrast enhancement in LAB mode would help that pic out... but it's fine the way it is!!

The original on my screen is nearly too contrasty. I am hosting my pix in flickr and that's where the contrast goes. Thank you for your comments. My 20D went to garantie repair and I got the 350D to pass it on to my son. I' like a digital pano but thus far haven't found it.
