i would crop the edges to only keep the central wall, and increasing abstract effect.

really? I think your right about the abstractness that that would create but I like the hues created by the red brick building on the left. What do you think?

I agree with the cropping as well. I think that if you wanted the hues from the red brick building, there'd need to be more of it in the picture.
