Decision to buy Photorecord

I am thinking about purchasing Photorecord, but have a few questions I can't find the answer to. If I email a picture to someone with captions and a frame will they see the captions & frame? Also, will they need Photorecord to view the captions & frames?

I believe that photorecord is strictly a printing utility. Any text, captions, etc. added to a photo are not saved as a photo (although you can save your additions in photorecord). Projects in photorecord are saved with an "alb" extension and cannot be opened without photorecord. Your best bet would be to add text, captions, etc. in a photo-editing software.
