Here is a picture I'm trying to improve. I like the pic and find it interesting, but it's missiing .....something. It seems a little flat. I've played with some setting in cs2 and didn't get it right. Any recommendations on how to improve this.

Crop out the frame an tag on the left for sure perhaps some from the top. The top right corner has something sticking into it, so a bit of crop on the top, too.
Hmm... I might even cheat and clone stamp over the tag on the left. I think it looks good this wide, but the tag is out of place.
Some Shadow & Highlight will probably do wonders for this. It really needs the shadows brought out a bit, and his skin and towel could use a little reduction in highlights.
I might also add a bit of saturation to make him and the paintings pop out - the gray walls shouldn't be affected too much, but I'd worry about the floor if it gets too saturated. So I'd ignore the floor while saturating and then use the History Brush to undo the saturation on the floor if necessary.
Just some ideas...
