Two weeks ago I ran across this forum and was searching for information about the G3 and where to buy from, etc.
As of an hour ago I'm the proud owner of a new G3 (battery is still charging LOL).
I thought anybody else in the 'looking to buy' category might be interested in my experience.
I purchased online from www.butterflyphoto.com last Thursday. They had the camera brand new for $538 + shipping = $560 total to my door.
Online ordering process was very straightforward. I got a call from them on Saturday to inquire/confirm the security code on my credit card. They did ask about selling me add-on products but were not pushy (I didn't buy anything additional there).
The camera arrived today about 2 days before I expected it.
So, I had a great experience with them and thought I would pass it along. That's one of the lower prices out there and I had no trouble buying from them.
I hope this might help someone out there.
