I took these this past weekend out in the country. That huge dark could was, well, large! I thought it made for some interesting lighting (just before sunset). Both taken with the 28-135 IS lens.

Both very nice. Second is my favorite. The contrast of the tree and the cloud enhanced by the shadow is incredible.

I agree. When you still see the sunlight and a storm approaching, it always makes for great oppotunities...and you've done well here.

These are very nice captures... The second is may favorite as well. The lighting makes these very unique and the dramatic effect in the second keeps my attention for quite some time. Excellent job!

I am also a little curious about any processing techniques applied to the images if you don't mind sharing. I am currently trying to hone those skills to get better colors and sharpness in pictures like these.

Very nice colours there, looks like one of those good timing situations where a short while later you woulda missed it.
