Flash sync on d60

Sometimes my images come up black on my d60. I have upgraded the firmware and use 4oo watt second Bowens Studio Flash. Right now about 3 or 4 out of 100 come out black. Sync Problem?

Uhhhh...
gonna need a bit more info....

what shutter speed are you using?
are you using wired or wireless sync?
are the strobes firing even on the black Images?
