Public vs. Private domain registration~

Does anyone take this into account when setting up their Sexy photo websites? :D

I just bought a domain and I was wondering the importance of it and if your domain is private why did you choose to do so.

Private prevent scammers sending you fake domain info/renewal mail in an attempt to get to to swap registrars unwittingly. There was a spate of this about 18 months back here in the UK, hence mine is private - not that it's in use at the moment :-s

i have some private and some not....i don't really get that much spam so i would not worry either way...if you get it for less than 2 bucks a year i would get it :)

mine is private as well, you can only find out my full name, and its not listed in the phone book, previously one could find out eactly where i lived. well worth the 5$ or wtv.
