Excellent as usual Mark. This is a wonderful set. I really like the shot of the player going for the ball on the floor and you can see behind her......the coaches and the anticipation on their faces and body language. Thanks for posting these. Really nice work here. Keep em' comin.

Mark -- these are really excellent. I like the light on the face of the shooter in #2; it accentuates her concentration. A great shot.

Well done shots! My only criticism is that there are too few cheerleader shots:lol:

Nice, sharp images! I really like 2 and 5 for the composition and expressions. I'll have to email my sister and tell her to take a look at them. She's a Nike exec and would probably be pleased to see their product so well represented! :)

Sorry to hear it was so cold. I would imagine you aren't used to colder temps like these. It's 16 degrees here right now with howling winds and lots of snow. Brrr!

#2 floats my boat Mark... I like the sense of anticipation that it evokes. Super stuff - another great set. Keep 'em coming...

For the most part these were either with a Canon 85 f1.8 or a Sigma 70-200 f2.8. Marquette (Al McGuire Arena) was a full stop darker then the place I normally shoot, so I under exposed by 1/2 stop and then compensated in Photoshop.... though this caused issues with the red on shots done at ISO 1600. I didn't do any noise reduction on these, though I may try doing some noise reduction on on the red channel at some point in time as this is the only area that needs help. I know - more then you asked... but my mind rambled.

Funny - I was the account rep that sold them their product imaging database system many years ago. Small world. I love their campus - very cool place to work. Thanks for the comments... though I doubt these would live up to the "nike image" standard.

Thanks, the light was good, but not up to what I am accustomed to. That is why I took this project, I needed to have more experience in foriegn venus. I had to "push" the images - and this showed up in the reds being noisy.
