We have users from all around the world, so I've taken the liberty of making us a guest map. You can click on it to place a marker showing us precisely where you live. Only NZ is cut off the front page.. And when you do scroll across and zoom in, there's no city or street detail like the rest of the world. :p

OH yeah, forgot to add, like curtis said, that all of my photographic gear is kept...in my living room. Oh yeah, and I have a pair of Russian Wolfhounds. Each of them more than 8 feet long from head to toe. No kidding! There's also 6 elderly women looking after my gear. Enter at your own risk!

That having been said, dozens of people walk past my gear every day. :-D (business)

My exact location is on the map but it took lots of fiddling to finally find it. Given some of the people in Siberia could read this, including one who hoped I would drop dead, I am now getting very scared :shock: :shock:

That's why the comment on mine says "Well, it's where my mail gets delivered." I marked my mailing address, which is a Mailboxes Etc., a couple miles from where I actually keep the equipment.

Russian wolfhounds are borzois---quite gentle beasts in the ones I have seen. I guess if you don't know much about dogs they may be intimidating. I love them myself, and have debated whether my next big dog will be a rescue greyhound ot a borzoi. I love the silky coats, but they greyhounds are so well behaved.

Yeah...I have two girls. They're the sweetest little things in the world. One's got an attitude sometimes, but the other is deaf. Seems to put a damper on her b**** mood swings. They are definitely huge, though, and very unusual looking. I think they're incredibly beautiful, but some think they're "freaky".

Having said that, I had a male before these two. Nice to us, but otherwise, as mean as they come. He ripped all of my ferrets apart and ate most of them. Blood spattered on the walls and various entrails around my bedroom. He then proceeded to go THROUGH the door (glass), and chase down a lady and her two little dogs, but didn't get them...he found cats along the way and ripped them to shreds as well. I was forced to give him back to who I got him from in Canandaigua, NY.

Nice? yeah...if you get a good one. They're hunters, though. Watch out.


All 3 were world championship show dogs, by the way. The now deaf one won her previous owner millions.

Cool, I've put in two, one on the street where I wuz born, the other in the less detailed area where I live. Think there's not much further apart you can get and still live on the planet...

I suspect the less detailed maps where I live are due to the amount of cloud cover we generally enjoy! But then how do you account for the detail in the U.K.?

Drag the map around with your mouse depressed to put your city in the center of it. Then click the plus sign to zoom in, keeping your city in the center until you get to the closest possible scale. A click of your mouse on your house's location will open up a box, where you can type in your name, message and URL. Then click the 'place' button. Finito.

No, you're not dumb. Just try a different browser. I can't even see the map with my version of Safari.

DSL isn't offered in my area and my boss opted for satelight tv over cable. I work/live in a sober living home and my desire/oppinion for cable didnt' go very far. And satelight internet is over $100 per month with installation at several hundred. Needless to say, I am stuck with dial up...

Can you do mine? It doesn't seem to work in Firefox, Safari, Camino or OmniWeb, unless I'm doing something wrong? Maybe it doesn't work with macs?
