That is a pretty good deal indeed but from a past experience with buy.com I vowed to never use them again for anything. Hopefully their customer service dept. has gotten better over the years. At one time they didn't have a listed phone number if needing to contact them and the email response was very slow.

I ordered two of the Kingston CF cards... my first experience with Buy.com. I got the goods in the mail within 3 days, so that part of the transaction went well. I just sent in for the rebates, so we'll see how that goes.

This is the first time I've ordered anything from this company, and I'm NOT recommending this company or anything like that. Just wanted to point out that, once you place an order from them, you get a very professional email that lists their phone number. So apparently they got their acts together since your negative experience with them.

I think I'll order a couple more Kingston from them. Just can't beat that price.

Just been on their website myself to look at their special on Kingston Elite Pro 2 GB CF. Their website clearly states that anything over $10 qualifies for free shipping. It also tells you right next to each item whether it qualifies for free shipping or not.

The $47.95 deal was with a $10 mail-in rebate... I think it may have been for one week only. Seems the 2 Gig card with $20 rebate is their deal this week. IIRC, there's a link on their page for current rebates/specials. Also check the threads about Kingston Elite cards in the Marketplace forum for a link to a site that keeps an eye out for this sort of deal.
