G6 + lenses

you guys are gonna kill me for being so naive, but..

if i was going to get add-ons for the G6, such as fisheye and other "special effects" lenses - where online are the best deals? what about non-online?

i found a few, but they were $300+ that's half of the price of the camera!!

also - do only canon lenses work? or is there a way to fit another brand's lens with special adaptors?

but it just has 2 types of lenses (for the g6 specificaly), and i'm really interested in fisheye. :(

check www.bhphotovideo.com and search for "fisheye." Should be a couple in the $100 - $150 range as well as the more expensive ones. (Don't panic when a Hasselblad comes up first... sort by price low to high.) :-)

thank you. it sems only "semi" fisheye lenses are in low price range. :(

there's a good Nikon lens, would it work on G6 with extra adapters?

As long as you can get the thread adaptors to connect everything -- as few as possible -- I don't see why not. I don't think the Canon will refuse to accept a Nikon... just don't tell anyone else here about it!
