Saw BB King in concert last weekend (benefit 80th birthday concert). At Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis...pitch dark with front spots and changing backlights...no flash...first photos using the 85mm F/1.2. I liked it, what does everyone else think?

I think they are wonderful. Hard to believe it was that dark by looking at your pics. Good job.

Forgot to mention...my wife got us fifth row seats. She's such my sweetheart!

These are some great shots. To go hear him play and take pictures from the fifth row at the same time, WOW. I would have been happy just to go hear play and sit on the last row.

Great shots in tough lighting.
The highlights are blown in #2, but that's a nit-picky thing that only a nit-picker would notice. ;)

hey, i saw BB King at mil lacs a couple years ago, didnt take any pictures, but he is simply amazing, especially for his age. Its good to see another minnesotan on here!

I shot B.B. back in March, 2005 [collage at http://www.dwightmccann.com/ChumashCasinoResort/BBKing.htm] and now I may have to go back and add some of my individual shots to my exhibit. While a tad soft at this compression, these are vintage B.B. King. Did he talk about his Viagra addition? :-)
