I have heard of them and was wondering if I should offer something like that.
Where can I find more information? Are there any software that are PS plugins that can help in their production?
Once the images are created, where can they get printed in canada or in the US?
I have heard of wedding coffee books. What is the processs for creating those?
thanks
Stephan

Tim have you used these books. I am looking at them myself and was woundering what the company was like to deal with. I live in canada and don't want to get f@#ked with this company. If they are crapy then I won't bother. I have heard that they are nice but no one I know uses them.

asukabooks are okay. they aren't very "high end" considering they don't do leather. i would suggest using www.pictobooks.com. they have a program that works with photoshop to create pages. also, you could look into www.photojunction.com. i am going to start using them when they team up with leather craftsmen early next year.

I've not ordered an asukabook yet, i'm just about to design my first two at the moment. I've heard good things about them. I wish they supported PhotoJunction, it would make designing the books much much easier.

Hopefully this question belongs here... My son recently married and included in the wedding photography was a beautiful hard covered 'digital' album, where the photos had been printed directly onto the pages of the book in various layouts. The pages are particularly thick. Although the book is not in leather, is this the type of wedding album/book that you are discussing, or is the topic something quite different again? I am interested in learning more about how these are produced, and the links provided are a start. Who does this in NZ Tim?

Who does this in NZ Tim?
I don't know if anyone in NZ would. Queensberry does digital albums, very high quality but expensive. Asukabook is the company i'd use to make books, but there are a few others around.

what ball park figure are we talking about here? for making the set-up and printing?? I know price will vary depending on the options...I just want to get an idea for a typical wedding. $500? $750? $1000?

i am 99% sure that photojunction is in nz. the man who owns the company is the son of a major wedding album company owner. i think it's either queensberry of seldex.

Hello from Cyprus
Iam dealing with INobily in Italy for my digital albums as well as my conventional albums You have a choice of different covers, most of them leather , the quality is incredible and the prices even better. It takes a month to get it from the moment you send it.
have fun

Do you mean collages???
If so, they are quite easy to do, just play around in photoshop, when shooting a wedding i tend to get thigns like macro's of the rings on the fingers, the flowers, close up of the dress, beading etc. these work well in collages as backgrounds!!

Photo Junction makes software to help you create books, I don't think they print books themselves.

i do believe the son of the owner of queensberry is the creator of photojunction ... so in a round about way, yes. the two companies work very closely.
